Steam flow measurement is related to the density of steam, and the density of steam changes with the temperature and pressure of steam. Therefore, in steam flow measurement, temperature and pressure compensation must be reasonably carried out, and the density must be corrected, in order to improve the accuracy of steam flow measurement and reduce measurement errors. Steam is divided into saturated steam and superheated steam. Due to different steam properties, the steam density is different under the same pressure. Therefore, the measurement methods used in measuring steam flow are also different. Measuring instruments, instruments and compensation methods should be reasonably selected based on the properties of the steam being measured.
